The standard cab fare covers up to 4 passengers sharing the cab; if you have 5+ there will be a higher fare for van/SUV type cabs that can fit your group.  It's all posted on the fare board near the cab line for your pier.

Assuming the rates haven’t changed which I haven’t heard they have officially. 
 

We were getting better rates again recently in pesos but probably not from the cruise ship piers. They tend to just convert the tourist rates from $ to pesos.
