hunt182644 Posted January 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2022 If you and your partner like to dine at a table for two and enjoy abit of privacy. When making a reservation ask if you could be seated at the Honeymoon table this is on the Eurodam not sure about other ships. These are located way to the front in the corner of dining room, one on each side. We made use of them several times also a few years ago when we sailed on the Eurodam.. The staff knew we were just joking about a Honeymoon but one evening about six of the servers at the front started cheering and clapping, that made for a good way to start the night off. Most of the older ships have them, but haven't seen them on the Pinnacle class. And they are actually aft end of the MDR, not foreward. Have had them on 3 or 4 ships. 57redbird Posted January 2, 2022 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2022 There are tables way in the aft of most of the dining rooms --- look at the 'floor plan' of the ship you're interested in....we now request one of those tables thru Ship Services before we board. One of us doesn't hear well with a lot of ambient noise & these work well for us.
hunt182644 Posted January 8, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted January 8, 2022 the front of the dining room, as you walk through you are headed toward the back. Kind of depends on how one looks at it, have a nice day.😊😉🙂
vswan Posted January 8, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 8, 2022 We discovered these on our last trip. The first morning we had breakfast in the MDR we were seated at one and on our way out we asked about reserving one for our evening meals for the rest of our cruise. Went nightly at the same time. Learned to do this on one of our previous cruises. Seemed that all of the "good" tables had the same people at them nightly, so when we found a table we liked booked it for the rest of the cruise. Quieter and much more private with the same waitstaff nightly.
