Testing on ship

Is NCL still testing twice while on the ship or was that only the week after the Breakaway had the positive cases?  We are on the January 23rd sailing and have our testing scheduled at the port but just wondering if we will also get tested during the cruise.

No testing during the cruise unless you come into contact via someone and get contact traced. Otherwise, there's an optional PCR test at the end of the cruise if you are traveling and it is required.

Testing can change at any time depending on changes at the various ports of call or situation on the ship.

MSC began to test everyone- mandatory- on day #2.  It may change on the other cruiselines.

I read that too. I feel like with so much testing the numbers are going to just skyrocket. I can't figure out what they are thinking.

the question is what you want.

If you want to keep the numbers artificially low to continue operations that more testing is bad.

If you care about your guest and want to find and isolate the infected than more testing is the only and best way.

If the cruise is 100% vaccinated then you're protecting people from having a cold. It's time to stop the insanity!
