Check in on the app has checked out. What the heck is that supposed to mean?

Someone is being entirely too cute and not helpful.

 

And why does every message seem to mention alcohol, champagne, Mini bar, etc. etc. Also not helpful, especially for those fighting demons.

 

I would happily trade all the childish “cleverness” for an app that works.

We thought it was odd when we tried to check in to our Feb 5th Reflection cruise while on the Constellation last week and continually got the "checked out" statement, even though we knew other folks were being allowed to check-in.

 

However, when we got home, I tried again using the Celebrity app and no problem. We were able to check in without any issues. Not quite sure what the issue was using the Celebrity app onboard though. FWIW we had upgraded to their internet streaming package which should not have made a difference since we were using the Celebrity app.

Seen it multiple times and sometimes lasts for days.   

 

I guess the "cute" message is better than a big 404 when a webpage can't be found.    Maybe a nice Our System is currently down - Please check back later would be better.
