Allure of The Seas - Central Park Cabin

Hi.  We haven't cruised with Royal in a few years.  I've been pricing a cruise on Allure for May.  We have always stayed on a Junior Suite or Ocean view balcony cabin but I'm very interested in the Central Park Cabins.  Any firsthand advice on which deck or cabin number to look for?  Thank you so much for any assistance!

We enjoy Central Park view staterooms and prefer deck eight.

I think you mean deck 9? The CP View rooms are on 9, CP itself is deck 8.

Anyway, we agree. We don't really actively use the balcony much, and loved the window and the window seat overlooking CP.

Maybe it was the location of our cabin, but we did not enjoy it.  The "thump, thump, thump" of the base from music playing on the pool deck was annoying.  It did not allow for quiet relaxation on the balcony.   Just MHO

If you like a larger balcony, look for xx229 or xx629 cabins.

This ^ - I like deck 10 or 11.

I like the CP balconies, something different from ocean facing.

We have also heard some pool deck music during the day, which I liked 😁

stayed in one about 10 yrs ago and scheduled in one for the Feb 5 voyage.  It is true that during the day you will hear music from the pool deck, if that bothers you.  Ambiance was great in the evenings.

We have a CP balcony booked in March 2023.  We have stayed in the Boardwalk balconies before (and really liked it) but never the CP balcony.  We have the extended balcony (10629) booked for a B2B.  Looking forward to trying it.

I really loved our CP balcony, except for in the afternoon you could hear the music from the pool deck quite loudly, and it got really hot and humid, unlike an OV balcony, because the air is a bit trapped. Higher up was cooler but louder, so you kind of have to choose.
