The Hyatt is in the area. $349.00 for two beds, no couch

Gets ok reviews. Some say it's a bit dated but usually Hyatt's are nice enough.

If you fly in at 6 p.m. I doubt you get to hotel till 7:30 ish

What's your plan?  Walk around Marketplace area for a fun place to eat, check-out the vibe of the area and then head to bed and wake-up grab a light breakfast and then head to the port?

Yes that sounds about right plan wise. Thanks for your help. I will look at the Hyatt but it doesn’t sound what I am looking for, thanks again!

I'm afraid you won't find what you are looking for at your price point near Bayside.

TripAdvisor is my go to site for prices & traveler reviews with pics.

Hi looking for May 4 adults including 2 adult children. Preferably a room with a couch. Transportation from airport and a restaurant for dinner walking distance. Do you suggest something by Bayside. We have only stayed in ft Lauderdale when we cruise out of Miami. Flight times are better this time. Thanks again!

Friends (with twin girls) have stayed in a one bed suite at the Guild near Bayside.  Which they thought was reasonable.

Superior Suite -486 sq feet - 2 Queen beds & double sofa bed

Fully refundable before May 12th  -$304.00  Free breakfast -

Free shuttle from airport & to port, however reviews aren't the best...complaints

that shuttle service is a nightmare, rooms not the cleanest, near airport so

nothing to do at night.

Personally I'd pay the extra $100.00 to get what you need. Why not ask the young adults

to pitch-in $50.00 each ?  lol

I agree! They paid for most of their cruise! So then where would stay that has all that I am looking for?

If you eliminate the free shuttle requirements you can get everything else for $400-$425.00

The shuttles for free to both places just don't exist for the most part.

If you stay near the airport plenty of places have free to hotel but you will most likely need

to Uber or taxi to port. Taxi is around $30.00 to the port from airport area.

Since you are getting in at 6pm consider staying near the airport. The Blue Lagoon area has hotels representing all the major hotel chains and most (if not all) have free shuttles from the airport. Search for Blue Lagoon on this forum.

Doubletree looks to be higher than your limit. It gets sketchy reviews.

Homewood Suites looks to be better though some reviews lately are not the best.

Brickell area is great and you can walk to the free MetroMover which goes close to Bayside.
