Cruise Sept 2022 from Port Canaveral

Most of our cruises (20) have either been out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami.  I have not booked a cruise out of Port Canaveral -  I am looking for

1. Hotel near the port

2. Transportation from Airport to Hotel and then Cruise Port to Airport.

3. Earliest flight out of Orlando on our way back - ship is supposed to arrive at 6:00

1. We like Homewood Suites

2. Pre-cruise We usually get a one way car rental. Post cruise use a shared shuttle to get to MCO. Check with Cortrans and Cocoa Beach Shuttle.

3. A after about 11:00 or noon to be safe. Maybe later since you may be flying internationally.

Thank you, we don't really want to drive to the hotel.  Any service you can recommed.  Also are there places near the Homewood Suites, where we could eat

 There are many hotels near the Orlando airport that provide a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Or you can stay at the Hyatt right in the Orlando airport, the hotel lobby is right upstairs from baggage claim. That’s what we did for our cruise last September. We booked Cortrans shuttle to take us from the hotel to the ship and then back from the ship to the airport after the cruise. It was all very easy.  We ate at the hotel but there are other places nearby downstairs in the airport before you have to actually go through security where you could eat.  Like I said it was all very easy. 

 It’s about a 45 minute to an hour drive from your ship back to the airport. Just to be safe book a flight at noon or later.
