Sky Princess smoking outside Alfredo’s?

I have booked a partially obstructed cabin on Deck 8. It looks like the open area outside Alfredo’s is below the cabin on deck 7. Is smoking allowed in that area? I am not a smoker and do not want to be right above a smoking section.

No, the outside smoking area on deck 7 is all the way aft, next to the Vista Lounge. On the Majestic it was on the starboard side. The bigger problem you might have is lifeboats blocking your view, and maintenance crew showing up outside your window to work on lifeboats.

Absolutely not. The smoking area will typically be somewhere aft on the ship.  Smoking is not allowed on balconies ever either.  Sometimes they don't even allow smoking in the casino.

It was widely reported starting about 3 weeks ago that there was no smoking in the casinos as well as in Churchill's.  I haven't heard anything in the past few days...they *may* have reversed that by now.

If the allowed smoking at that location it would almost be the same as allowing smoking on balconies as well. It took years to get Princess to eliminate balcony smoking.

Assuming the Sky is the same as other Royal class ships there should be a smoking location on the starboard aft promenade deck "patio", accessed from the starboard doors by the Vista Lounge.
