Bring a rubber band to hold down the button.

Just realize, her hair dryer may be confiscated.  It will be returned at the end of the cruise.

Who exactly has ever had a hair dryer confiscated?  I've walked past the Table of Shame after several cruises, and have NEVER ONCE seen a hair dryer.

This seems like the best place to ask...

Are all the plugs on the ships US plugs? (We are on a med cruise this year and starting to plan... we'll need EU and US converters if they are)

There is usually one European style plug at the vanity.

I said MAY.

As in, they are not exempted on the list.    Curling irons and hair straighteners ARE exempted

I carry and use this product.  Built in outlet converter. NOT surge suppressed.

One trick is, plug it into one of the Euro outlets to leave the US outlets free.  If I bring my laptop, I plug it in to this also, as it can run on 220 volts.  Or you could plug a US multioutlet USB charger into it.

We bring both converters - our American one and our European travel one, so one goes into each outlet and we have plenty of space.  Just ....remember to bring the proper cords.  🙂
