Am I seeing this correctly: Volendam cruising Alaska this summer

I've been searching for an Alaskan cruise, but have found nothing of interest... up until today. I had not seeing the Volendam as an option.  Now it is?  We may just have to consider this one. We prefer HALS smaller ships.  I've also checked out

Oceania (Regatta - we've cruised with Azamara on these ships - too cramped)

Seabourn ($$$)

Viking (our favorite cruiseline, but requires flights and is $$$)

The Volendam will be in Europe this summer....for Alaska I see the Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam, Noordam, Zuiderdam, and Koningsdam.

@dcsam could you let me (us?) know where you saw this? As far as we know. Volendam starts in Europe in May! Thanks!

Volendam is cruising Alaska beginning May 2023, if you can wait!  I also like the smaller ships.

Interesting.  I saw Volendam offered on a popular booking website.  I called HAL - at first the agent said the Volendam was not cruising Alaska.  Then he saw it is/was.  And for 2022.  Confusing, for sure.

That is weird.  The web site shows Europe for 2022 from May to September.  Well, it has been an uncertain two years, so why should anything be certain now?  😕

Just this afternoon I received a Casino offer that includes the Volendam, October 8-22(EUROPE).  I currently have a cabin on hold, but, due to other travels will probably not book.

In 2022 the Volendam is in Europe from May 15 until it Sails from Rome on November 5th arriving in Fort Lauderdale on November 19th.  Any other Information is bogus.

Why don't you attempt to book it on the "popular booking website" and see what happens ?
