Oasis - Post Amp - What are your favorite additions?

So..I decided to sail Oasis again in April. I haven't been on her since before the amp in 2019. What are the major improvements? Am I missing any? What are your favorites?

• Mission Control: Apollo 18 escape room

 

Anyone who recently sailed Oasis, was the escape room open?

The water slides are really fun!  One of my favorite new food venues is El Loco. It has a great vibe and is perfect for a place to grab some fairly yummy Mexican food! I was disappointed in the rooms. They have not been updated and are really showing their age.

We loved Portside BBQ, pulled pork sandwich was really good.  Playmakers was good also.  The nachos were tasty, but the burger looked a little greasy.

 

 I wasn’t impressed with El Loco Fresh.  I got a chicken quesadilla and it was a tortilla and chicken, no cheese.  I did like getting all the toppings, John had suggested getting a separate plate and using it for toppings.  Great idea.  Burrito was good.

 

We enjoyed the Music Hall, we saw the Beatles group there and it was a great place for that.

We really liked Portside BBQ, the pulled pork and the mac’n’cheese sides were great. My husband was very disappointed with the wings at Playmakers, he said they were more bones than meat.

From your list, we frequented and enjoyed: El Loco Fresh, Ultimate Abyss slide, and the Music Hall. Two acts in the Music Hall, a tribute band and another band. You won't see the same bands we saw but it's a nice place to hang out and listen to music, dance if you are so inclined (dance floor on the main level).  

 

Escape room is was open. We didn't book early and were shut out.

I loved the new outside area in the solarium. It’s spacious and nicely decorated with great sea views.

and I do not think they put this on any other Oasis class ship including the new Wonder.

feel free to correct me if I am wrong but Oasis only has the new area outside.

I like the music hall and the public spaces. But they really missed the mark not refurbishing the cabins and common area carpet. The ship feels old because of it.

Agreed. Our GS was really dumpy.
