Klaus Lugmaier - NCL

With all the changes that I am sure that has happened within NCL over the past 2 years..does anyone know if Klaus Lugmaier is within NCL Staff?

We sailed the  first 2 sailings on the Encore last August and had the pleasure of meeting Mr Klaus. He was part of the corporate team onboard overseeing the restart. He was a lovely gentleman!

Klaus moved up the corporate ladder years ago. He is currently one of four people in NCL holding the title of Regional Vice President Fleet Hotel Operations. (The others being Denis Prguda, Jenny Lim, and Jovo Sekulovic)

Richard Janicki also has that title. We met Richard when he was Hotel Director on the Gem in 2017. 
 

We also met Klaus on the Encore last September. Since then he, Richard and Jenny have all been very helpful to us.

I remember meeting Klaus on one of the inaugural sailing of the Gem back in 2007.  He came to the CC Meet and greet with some of the other officers.  He gave us his business card at the end with his direct phone number to call when things went well and didn’t go well.

Richard is a friend of ours and probably one of the most understated HD. a great guy and fully deserving of his promotion.

Klaus just helped open the Sky and next he is onto Prima. He's scheduled to be on the transatlantic.

Before reopening Sky, Klaus was on Encore quite a few weeks so plenty of "sightings."

 

For those going on Sun mid April, he'll be there to reopen that ship.  Early summer off to Prima to look after the opening, as he has done with NCL new ships over the decades!  Those going on the TA will see him, I'd imagine.

 

By the way, @SeaShark, Jovo has moved on to new builds and so the current 3 are Klaus, Jenny Lim and Richard Janecki taking care of the fleet and private island.

 

Hope to see Klaus on Prima!  Youngest HD in cruise line history and still going "Full Blast."

Klaus is a great person and gets things done.  Probably best customer service we ever experienced.

 

Will be great to see him on TA.
