Desk Chair Question

Do you know if it is possible to request a second desk chair? We will be in a sideways cabin for a B2B.  The desk is larger in a sideways cabin and it would be nice to have two chairs so we could eat room service at the desk instead of trying to balance soup while sitting on the bed.  I would be willing to sit sideways on the end of the desk instead of eating in bed.  😊

A few years ago I suggested TV trays for the cabins. I was told that it was a great suggestion but still no TV trays.

It is a great suggestion, but they make more money if you buy a drink with dinner

I have asked for a second desk chair.  I stored it in the closet.  I've had pre-dinner "cocktails" in my interior room (2 chairs/2 on the bed).  Ridiculous I know, but...it was fun/cozy.

No idea what this has to do with that?

It is fun! I’m just always afraid that I will spill something.  I’m really good at that!

Did they give you the regular desk chair or did they give you a folding chair? Thank you!

Seems sort of obvious. Princess wants you out and about, spending money on drinks, casino, etc.

Not hiding out in your cabin eating room service from tray tables.

Much like many (some?) vegas hotels that have limited television selections,

as they want you out of the room, so they have a chance to empty your wallet.

True but with Princess plus I don’t think that really matters anymore unless somebody goes to the casino.  🙋🏻‍♀️

We like late night room service with movies on demand.  Sometimes you just need a bowl of chicken noodle soup or a club sandwich at midnight, lol.  If they don’t want us in our cabin ordering room-service then they shouldn’t make it available.  Have you seen the room service menu lately with the MedallionClass app?  There is so much available!

we were on the Majestic Alaskan cruise in Sept. and I asked and received an extra desk chair.  I felt sorry for the room steward when she came with the chair…the thing is really heavy and quite awkward for her to carry.
