silversneakers Posted March 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2022 I'm hearing that masks are still required when entering the cruise terminal. Is this correct?
LatinaInTexas Posted March 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2022 As of yesterday still required when we debarked. On our flight home they announced they were waiting to find out mid month if they would no longer be required on planes so maybe that will apply to terminals also at that time.

Knights on the Beach Posted March 6, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2022 Yes, I think that's a federal regulation? Hopefully that will change soon.
chengkp75 Posted March 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2022 Yes, the terminal is covered by the federal "public transportation" mask mandate, that I believe comes under review on March 18.

This is right on, current rule is set to lapse on the 18th so we will see if they extend or not...
Rare lazydayz Posted March 6, 2022 #7 Share Posted March 6, 2022 At Mardi Gras debarkation yesterday, the on ship announcement was to mask up for the terminal. By Thursday, they gave up on requiring them on the ship. Still masked up for indoors at Amber Cove shops. Grand Turk was laid back about it. My hubby is recovering from foot surgery so we just did some shopping at the port. There is a nice coffee shop there and we buy coffee beans to bring home. We were there in November and swam with the dolphins. I highly recommend that, and will likely do it again in May. It is a great facility and the dolphins are so much fun to interact with. As I recall, it was an Executive Order, implemented for all "common carrier" travel (air, rail, ship, buses, taxis).
