Sorry not playing that today. Congrates on 19400 +1

You seem to be, can I find another thread for you about the concerns we all have about sailing to Canadian ports?

Edit:  Found it.

Vaxxed people still get covid!

This is also true in most hotels, which have no protocols.  If the cruise lines just adopted a requirement to show proof of vaccination or a negative test, they would still be better than most hotels.

We are good with vaxxed and test. It is working. Why mess with it?

Because it's not a sustainable or realistic protocol. Now that the numbers are declining, and almost all venues are dropping their protocols, it's time that the cruise lines are allowed to relax some of these ridiculous protocols.

And you think every single cruiser on every single cruise ship, who gets a stuffy nose, will test for Covid? You have probably been exposed or been around plenty of people with Covid. Not everybody exposed gets Covid.

Why not sustainable or realistic? It has worked. Ridiculous? You sound like those who complained about removing shoes and belts after 911. Better safe than sorry!!

I never mentioned stuffy noses. But if you pre-cruise test you know who has it. No guessing!

Testing everyone forever is not a realistic or environmentally friendly solution.  That said, I am not advocating that they remove all protocols, just start to move to something more realistic like show proof of vaccination or a negative test.

Back to: you can be vaccinated and boosted and still have covid. Vaxed means nothing, as we found out during Omicron. (Besides maybe avoiding hospitalization. )

Good point, all of us assume this risk with daily life.  Hopefully things will start to get back to normal with the cruise lines.
