Mslewis1999 Posted March 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2022 Can a person who has several offers book two rooms? Does that person need to be in the same room?
firefly333 Posted March 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2022 You usually can only book a special offer if you are in that cabin. Depends on the cruiseline but mostly I'd say you cant book the offer sent to you like what carnival does for casino offers and book a 2nd cabin you wouldnt br in. The offer is meant for you. Rare Essiesmom Posted March 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2022 I don’t believe you can book yourself into two separate cabins. There was a thread somewhere in the last couple of days where both members got the casino offer, and they booked using his. Then friends or family wanted to go so they were trying to use her offer for them. Sooner or later the cruise line would realize she was in both cabins…. Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted March 19, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2022 As someone who has check-in passengers, I came across a very similar situation. It was a couple who booked two staterooms across from each other primarily to store medical equipment. The difficulty was that the check-in system would not allow the check-in agent to swipe/scan the same passport for the same person in two different rooms. I think the problem was that the passport recognized only one "John Smith" as embarked, and not the second "John Smith" with the same passport. We actually had to have a specialized crew member come off the ship to get it all straighten out. The passengers still had the two rooms, but it took extra time to sort it out. The passengers were very gracious about it.
cruiseaholic777 Posted March 20, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2022 If you and your spouse have the same offer then yes. We have done it before. You book 1 room for you and a friend and 1 room in your spouses name and the other friend. When you get onboard you have to get your room cards changed.
