Is Princess Plus reflected on Booking Confirmation Invoice document?

We have booked a Princess cruise and want the "Princess Plus" benefits of included Drinks, WiFi and Gratuities.  We have paid our deposit and the "Booking Confirmation - Passenger Copy," balance due reflects the cost of Princess Plus.  However, on the Booking Confirmation letter the Princess Plus is not displayed as a line item.  Instead, it's supposably included in the Cruise fare.  Or so it's supposed to be and that's my concern. I would assume that Princess Plus would be specified on the Booking Confirmation similar to how it displays fare, taxes, and insurance where every charge is specifically listed.  At the bottom of the Booking Confirmation there's a place where it states Gratuities included, but no mention of included Drinks and WiFi.  So this concerns me as to whether we actually will receive the Princess Plus benefits.  I asked our cruise agent and she states that it's okay and due to a glitch in the Princess booking system the Princess Plus or benefits are not stated.

Does this sound right?  For anyone else out there who also has Princess Plus, what does it state on your Booking Confirmation Invoice?

The cruise is not till September, but I'd like to get this confirmed now.

Thanks for your information.  Appreciate your help.

Where you are seeing about gratuities, is that under "comments"?

All of the packages included should be listed under "Payment Details" Which is a subset of "Pricing Details". It is not a line item amount.

The following information is listed under Payment Details for one of my future cruises. Note that it explicitly lists Premier Beverage Package, Wi-Fi, and Crew Incentive. You should have a similar statement under your Payment Details.

"Guests who book this promotion pay a REFUNDABLE deposit and receive the following: *ONBOARD SPENDING MONEY: An onboard credit will be applied to passenger's onboard folio. May be used on a single voyage only, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino, and expires at the end of the voyage. *PREMIER BEVERAGE PACKAGE with SERVICE CHARGE included for all guests 21 years old or older. Those under 21 will receive the Premier Coffee & Soda Package. *WI-FI is unlimited for all guests in the cabin, one device per guest. *CREW INCENTIVE is pre-paid by Princess Cruises for all guests in the cabin."

The price of Princess Plus is not itemized separately. It is part of the Fare, unlike separate beverage packages, Wi-Fi purchases, or pre-paid crew incentives. This means it is subject to the same cancellation penalties as the rest of the Fare and it increases the cost of Princess Vacation Protection since the Fare is higher.

If You log into your cruise personaliser and go to drinks packages, you will see your reservations and Purchases listed at the bottom of the page. Mine says Compliments of princess cruises for wifi and drinks package.

If you download your Travel summary all three are listed.

Yes, this is for 7 nights.  It doesn't specify,  but just to confuse things even more, my prices are in Canadian dollars so it could be the exchange rates making things look weird.  🙂

Where do I find the Travel Summary?  Thanks.

Log in to your sailing on the Personalizer. Along the top, select the "Check In" tab and you should see a very obvious big green "Print Travel Summary" button

Go to princess.com. Click on "Log In" at the top right part of the page. Once you're logged in, click on "Booked Guests". That brings down a menu with the top-left option as "Access Cruise Personalizer".

Does anyone have the drinks that are included in the Basic Package or is that the same as the Premier Package. I saw that there is a max price of $12 ??? but I don't know what that will buy. A listing of drink prices would be helpful.

Most of the cocktails fit within the specified maximum price allowance per drank stated for you cruise.i you are wanting drinks made from really high end stuff, then I believe you are charged the difference between the maximum package price and whatever the costs of what you want.  For example, I enjoy a good scotch.  IF I wanted McCallan 15 year old scotch, that wouldn't be $12 or under.  Just like you can certainly get a glass of champagne from a bar, but don't be thinking that a glass of Dom is gong to be include.

Do a search for "Bar Menu"  a lot of people do post them from the ships.

Princess doesn't have a Basic or Premier drink package. If you have the drink package - or if you booked with Princess Plus - you will be able to have pretty much any drink you want. Unless you feel a need to drink Johnny Walker Blue or something you won't have a problem covering your drinks. Think of the drinks you might order normally in a bar or restaurant. They are covered with the package.
