CPAP Rental?

Friends are taking a Viking cruise in the Med in May.  He uses a CPAP.  Wanted to know if CPAPs can be rented for cruising in Europe. He doesn't want the hassle of taking his with him if they are available for renting on the cruise.  Any information will be appreciated.

We have a couple friends who use CPAPs and there are no rentals.

Special Needs at Sea, a very well-known company that provides wheelchair and scooter rentals to cruise ship passengers also rents respiration equipment including CPAPs.

CPAP are set according to the prescription.  They are personal devices that you breath into and out all night long.....not something you would want to use after someone else uses it.  

 

If you go on vacations a lot, I recommend a travel CPAP that is light weight, and some can even be operated by battery.

Note that SNAS requires a prescription. I am not familiar with device sterilization practices, but am sure if you asked, they’d be happy to provide documentation.

I no longer use a CPAP machine but when I did  I would never use one that had been used by someone else.
