Until when can I upgrade basic drink package to Premium Plus?

Is there a date by which I need to upgrade prior to sailing (I’ve already completed online check-in and received my eDOCS). And if I upgrade and change my mind, can I cancel it prior to sailing? Thank you!

TRUTH! So, they will apply the value of my free package even onboard? Would cost the same?

I should add that with all the cancellations and everything happening, I have been dragging my feet on upgrading the drink package, adding a shore excursion in Belize, adding arcade package, and pre-paying gratuities because if something is cancelled, I don't want an extra $1500 in FCC. I realize that's less than optimistic! But, if they get cancelled, could I remove these items before sailing and leave only the cruise as FCC, right?

Upgrading from the basic Premium beverage package to the PLUS package is about $30

person per day.

I don't know if there are time limits to purchase the upgrade pre-cruise or while on board.

Also there may be the factor of everyone in the same cabin requiring to purchase the upgrade.

I waited until onboard. Did not want to lay out $480 and then fail the covid test.

The upgrades would be refunded to your credit card they wouldn't be given back as FCC. Had a January Escape cruise canceled last minute in January and my Ugraded WIFI and additional Specialty dinners went back to my card

If purchased on board - go to Guest Services and your Key Card will either be replaced with

the upgrade or labeled stickered with the upgrade - depends on the ship.

 

Side note don't be punching any holes in that upgraded card or the magnetic stripe on the back.
