My CCL suggestions (all about me)

Recommended Posts

Here is my list of things id love to see Carnival implement, if only for my selfishness!

*make the cabin "chillers" mini fridges.  I love cold water, dammit.

*add a Jimmy Buffett trivia contest.  Puh-leeze!

*im also a huge rat pack fan, install the new upright Dean Martin slot in casino.

*fight the deck chair hogs.  I dont have a dog in the hunt as i just skip lido pool, but my first several cruises i was appalled at how many chairs never saw a body for 60, 90+ minutes.

*have my sail & sign card indicate No Biodegradable Straws!  Im cool with no straw over that soggy paper mess.

*allow me to have one ultra top shelf (not Woodford) bourbon on the rocks per cruise.

*please have carnival corp use their influence in South FL to get my beloved jai alai back at dania or miami frontons so i can see it pre and/or post cruise.  It was my excuse to spend 2 xtra days there on vaca!

*keep the map channel on cabin tv forever.

*install Horizon/Panorama elevator systems on all ships. I hate line cutters and this fixes that problem.

*ditch pepsi and return to cole.  Again, i dont care since i rarely if ever drink soda.  But...the mrs loves coke zero.

Here's another to add to your wish list.

Please have adequate staff at your Customer Service desk at all times. On our last cruise there were four Attendant stations available with only one attendant on duty at anytime? Caused mass waiting times to just ask a simple question.

The new Margaritaville at Sea cruise line debuts in April. An entire ship dedicated to Jimmy Buffett music, decor, venues, activities, etc 24 hours a day. They’re starting with one ship, the former Grand Celebration which will be redone and renamed Margaritaville Paradise. I guess that if the venture works, they’ll expand to add more ships.

That sounds like it might be a good Cruise. Let's hope they eventually make it to an "Eagles" and "Chicago" themed cruises!

I literally booked my first NCL cruise several years ago because the Escape had a Margaritaville at Sea cafe onboard.  True story.  Up until then i was only a Carnival guy.

Now those cafes have been rebranded as American Diners.  Lets just say (as a fella who has been to 40+ unique Margaritaville/Landshark locations) that was probably a solid decision.

If you see a pool chair with nothing but a towel on it, take that linen to the dirty towel bin and make it your own. If anyone challenges you, just tell them the attendant must have done it. Or, just tell them you did it. However you want to roll.

The thing I've wanted for a decade: let me order takeaway from the main dining room!  Limit me to one app/soup, one main, and one dessert, no problem.  Make it a bit of a hassle - maybe require me to preorder online, but not start prep until I'm actually standing there confirming my order?  Charge me a nominal fee?  I'd jump through whatever hoops to have all the MDR options in my cabin!

They are def short staffed, but not due to lack of trying.  This is one that will go away as more staff returns.  The GS staff is a true specialty area.

Bring back the trays at the buffets. Not wanting to fill up my plate unnecessarily. Just simply hate balancing my dinner plate, a salad, my utensils and a beverage in two hands serpentining through tables and people. Never ends well … lol
