Ombud Posted April 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) I have a port stop in Cobh this fall. I've been to Cork, Waterford is a long way away .... is their something along the railroad that you could recommend to a DIYer?? (Should've gotten there when I spent a month in Dublin but somehow never found the time) Edited April 1, 2022 by Ombud

GloriaF Posted April 2, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2022 We enjoyed our day in Cobh. We walked to the cathedral, which is visible from the ship, and visited a small Titanic museum very close the the port. There was a craft fair of sorts by the locals, and I bought a knit cap made of Irish wool ($15 US at the time) from the woman that made it, and wore it the entire time we were in Ireland. I had a more fashionable hat brought from home (FL) but didn't take into account the fierce winds. We walked the streets, even residential, and talked with several locals along the way. It was a very enjoyable day in a low-key kind of way! 2
