Rare csoud68 Posted April 7, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2022 And then use the hub app for reservations and chat. Is that how it should be done?
ngrund Posted April 7, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2022 Yes, airplane mode shuts off the "cell" radio, then you turn on the phone's WiFi to connect to the ships WiFi to use the app

Well, after you pay $5 for each person for the entire cruise for the "Chat" feature. Then, you'll discover that "Chat" doesn't work a lot of the time. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't. Maybe it will take 6 hours for the "chat" to deliver, maybe it will be immediate. Maybe, you'll find you need to shut down the Hub app and then "Chat" will start working again. That's my experience last week on Freedom anyway.

At $5 per person, Carnival and gathered plenty of funds to upgrade their equipment and make the chat work!
