GloriaF Posted April 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2022 (edited) Sorry - moved to Britain/W Europe board, didn't realize I was on the wrong board. 🙂 Edited April 13, 2022 by GloriaF
waiting2retire Posted April 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2022 IMO, there is no comparison between the motion of a cruise ship and that of a ferry. The only boat I have ever experienced queasiness on was a ferry between Sain John New Brunswick and Digby Nova Scotia. Ferries are the worst!
Rare Lady Arwen Posted April 13, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2022 Yes, we have sailed this itinerary and are booked again for a British Isles cruise on Emerald in September. We did not experience any extremely rough seas, but it could always happen on any cruise. We are not bothered by the motion of the ocean, however folks who suffer from motion sickness may be adversely affected. If one of your group has an extreme reaction to motion, then they would need a supply of meds, preferably ones recommended by their doctor. Remember, there is always a potential for very rough seas, especially in that area.

Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted April 13, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2022 We didn’t experience rough seas on ours in late June/early July. We actually hit an unusual heat spell and had fantastic weather most of the time.
