Tried it on symphony in feb. Definitely would not go back. The little food bites were ok but the main course, I had chicken and husband had beef was just not good at all. It’s a one and done for me.

Sorry to hear.  Were the entrees dry or something?

I am far from a picky eater, but everything I had at Wonderland was below average to way below average. I know the experience is supposed to be different, but I literally did not like anything I had there. Food is very subjective so keep that in mind, but with all the great speciality restaurants on RCI ships, I would never waste another night going to Wonderland.

What about the food did you not like, if you can remember?  What are your favorite specialty restaurants?

Are there specialty restaurants that you particularly enjoy?

 150 Central park

 Izumi

 Giovannis

 Chops

 Hooked

 Jamies

 Wonderland

 Playmakers

 Sabor

This is our list, favorite to least favorite. Not all of the restaurants are on every ship and even the same restaurant can vary from ship to ship. We didn't like Jamies on Harmony but has a great meal on Symphony.

Chefs Table is also very good and a lot of fun!

Count us in for a one and done. The concept is fun, entering and being escorted to the table by the Mad Hatter is a novelty. The server did a excellent job of explaining the various appetizers everyone was to receive and answered knowledgeable questions regarding entrees.

Presentation was "interesting". Some foods immediately looked yummy, but some, very unappealing which made for a rather unpleasant feeling of leaving food completely untouched and then being asked about why we didn't at least try it. The "specialty drinks" are 'cool' looking but not that great tasting.

Desserts were all good but sweet so very few bites. I'm still happy we had the experience but not one that I see many returning for, including us. I would of least liked to of had one item that I really loved but unfortunately it was all basic to the taste.

Thanks.  Hopefully the questioning was not rude or aggressive.  Out of curiosity, do you remember which looked so-offputting you did not even want to try them?

The cones filling was a off putting tint made to look like a babies diaper and having just previously smelled the eggs, which had a bit of a burnt smell didn't help.

When questioned on why the table did not try a couple of the app's it seemed she felt we were not trying the experience as a whole. We tried to play it off as just choosing which foods we preferred as we had so many choices but she made it seem like we weren't hospitable guests. I think she also has some anxiety as the Captain, his wife and 2 guests were a table over from us and she might of felt awkward we were not trying the items.

Yikes--that sounds awkward for all involved!

If we go and I have the halibut, I will let you know.  I love halibut and it is popular where I live, so I will be able to get a taste of home on board!

Sorry to hear.  Too sweet or syrupy or tart?

I would be there in an instant!  I think on our ship (Symphony) the Solarium Bistro is basically a Greek/Mediterranean buffet, so I at least can get some nice spreads...

I mean I really should have taken a clue from the name Cotton Candy Cosmo lol. Very, very sweet with an artificial aftertaste, and no detectable vodka.

That does NOT sound up my alley, but I may try one anyway since I have the UBP!
