We always recommend folks get good travel insurance because you just never know. So thankful you're ok AND you have the insurance to help you with your current situation. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Oh my gosh OP, I just read this review during my lunch break at work and realized how lucky I was when I missed a step and fell on the Lido steps a few cruises ago and my ankle turned sideways. It hurt like hang for a few days, I can only imagine what you went thru! Glad they got you fixed up and you had good care at the hospital. After my experience, and reading this, I will be looking into travel insurance for our next cruise! Hope you have a good recovery.

I just read your journey…Oh my; I’m so sorry your trip ended this way; you sure have a fantastic attitude about it, though! I am

still recovering from an ankle brake from 2 years ago (Don’t worry; yours will heal beautifully, I’m sure), and it too happened from a split second accident. I can not imagine having had to fly in that pain; you are such a trooper! Did you make it to your convention? (Since it’s now August) Wishing you a speedy and successful recovery!
