MrMuscleDude Posted April 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2022 Hi, we are sailing for the first time on Celebrity Edge on 4th June. If anyone has any tips or useful information to share I would be keen to hear? Many thanks!
Rare chemmo Posted April 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2022 It may help people to advise you better if you add a few more details…For example, your room category, if you are interested in speciality dining or visiting the spa…Experienced Edge cruisers can then comment on things like storage space in your room, facilities and the cost and value of extras. micmacmissy Posted April 24, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2022 Book your spa appointments and specialty dining before you board - especially Eden!
Rare lv2cruisgrl Posted April 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2022 We love the Edge class of ships. I can't think of anything negative to say. Enjoy!
vettegal99 Posted April 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 24, 2022 We were on the 4/3 Edge sailing - 2nd cruise on the Edge. Found it very convenient to make dinner reservations from the Celebrity app. Love this class of ships.

Thank you. We are in a Porthole View Veranda Stateroom. Interested to know if it is worth booking a pass for the Sea Thermal Suite? Also, activities on board. We are particularly interested in participating in a cookery class.
jelayne Posted April 24, 2022 #7 Share Posted April 24, 2022 My DH always loved the cooking classes, unfortunately Celebrity stopped doing them a few years ago. The only cooking activity we have seen offered, on some cruises, is a shore excursion called Market Discover (or something similar) the excursion is for a small group to go to a market with a chef, purchase the ingredients for a meal which the participants help prepare and then eat. As I said we haven't seen them offer frequently and not at all on our 5 cruises since the restart.

We have seen cooking demonstrations, some with one or two audience members taking part. Usually on sea days about 11am. We found the ‘Cook the perfect steak’ interesting but the cup cake decorating one a bit blah…Look in your Today sheet delivered every evening to your room. chgoguy1971 Posted April 25, 2022 #9 Share Posted April 25, 2022 The cruise you're on, out of Rome, does offer the market tour, ship galley tour and private meal with a Celebrity Chef. We just booked it. Check the website, it's on Day 5 in Barcelona.
tserface Posted April 25, 2022 #10 Share Posted April 25, 2022 The ship is amazing. Check out every inch of it… there are so many cool and modern new things. It’s our favorite ship.
