Gratuity added to free drinks?

Is there added to gratuity with free drink package,? This is first experience with this perk.

If you order a drink that is within your package, you aren’t given a bill for the gratuity. In fact, a couple of times when I ordered a drink which was a few bucks Bové the free limit, they didn’t charge me. 

 

I did add a bit more tipping, but that isn’t expected. Just something i do.

You pay the gratuity when you purchase the package.  That gratuity is pooled among the bartenders.  You may feel free to add a dollar or so when you order a drink, but that is purely optional.

There are some cruise lines which charge gratuities for the included drinks.  Celebrity does not.
