Help With Water Taxi & Coconuts Fort Lauderdale

Hello fellow cruisers! We are cruising out of Fort Lauderdale on the Celebrity Equinox this month. Staying one night before the cruise at Hampton Inn Airport North Cruise Port. Would like to figure out where/how to board the water taxi. Is the Hilton Marina the closest place we can board? How far from our hotel would that be? Also is one of the stops Coconuts restaurant? Thank you.

Hilton Marina would be less than 2 miles and is the closest. Ask the boat operator when you board which stop would be the closest to get off. You can check for groupons for the water taxi in advance if they are available to save some money.

The water taxi doesn't stop at Coconuts.  The closest stop (#6) and shortest walk is Beach Place north of Coconuts if coming from the Hilton Marina stop.  The Bahia Mar stop (#5) south of Coconuts and is a slightly longer walk.  Check out the map on https://watertaxi.com/hours/.  Coconuts is next to the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
