Formal Nights on 7 Night Princess Cruise

2 formal nights on a 7 day cruise. They are never held on the first or last nights. That being said, normally the formal nights are on the second night and the second to last night.

If there is a sea day towards the beginning and/or end of the cruise, those will likely be formal nights.  Otherwise, they seem to try to pick a port day where you aren't in port too late.

If you can find someone on your same itinerary and ship in the couple weeks before you sail, it should give you a pretty good idea of which days.

Depends on itinerary. Are you speaking about one of the 7 day RT Seattle trips? If yes, then the two sea days. Formal nights are never on boarding day nor on the last evening. If not the voyage mentioned then what date?

You may find two "formal" or one formal and one "dress to impress". We were told by the Loyalty & Events Manager (Captain's Circle) that they used to "dress to impress" to allow the officers to not have to put on formal gear. We were caught by surprise on our latest cruise on the Discovery Princess 😞

Can anyone tell me how many formal nights there are on a 7 night Alaska cruise, candy what night(s) those might be?  Wondering how to plan for an upcoming cruise in Discovery.  Thank you

2 for us just of the CP.  Second and Fifth night.

Cheers
