Port of Honolulu - local bus transportation?

I will be in port of Honolulu for 2 days,  wonder if there is local bus transport I might use to go from port to Ala Moana Shopping Mall.  It is not far from the port only about 2 miles but probably farther than my 90 year old DH would want to walk to.  Doubt we would find a local taxi that would like to do such a short trip.  Any info appreciated.

The bus line that runs close to the port will stop at the Ala Moana shopping center as it is a major transit hub.

 

I am not aware of a shuttle.

Uber works great in Honolulu and never an issue for a short trip. You'll certainly pay more than the bus but if convenience or speed is the goal than it will satisfy that.

The Bus does, but with a 90 year old I'd use Uber or a cab. Figure out WHERE at Ala Moana you want the cab/Uber to drop you. I'd ask to be dropped near Needless Markups (Neiman Markus).
