Civitavecchia NEW shuttle bus stop

I just booked the tickets through Trentitalia. Going to take the morning train as we will carry our luggage off and are in Concierge class so I will request early departure.

Can anyone confirm that the shuttle is still running FROM the train station to the ship? And that it’s clearly marked right outside the station. Thanks

No the shuttle is running from the train station to Largo della Pace (2 Euro single ride). Then you have to switch to another free shuttle to your ship.

So this one is no longer running? Either way we can get on at the train station.

No, it´s reported several times that they are not running the direct PortLink anymore but are back to the Largo della Pace and two shuttles. Largo della Pace was used for Covid-tests and not available when cruising resumed. Therefore they have installed the direct bus. But the area is now available again (since late May/early June) and so they are back with the two busses.

Where did you actually get off?

Directly at your ship?

So did they stop multiple times for the different ships?

Gee, seems like they change the plans frequently... I did have a recent report that the direct bus is not running anymore (within the last two weeks). And it definitely was discontinued when they reopened Largo della Pace.

Nonstop. Right at the ship.

I assume if there were others on the buss they would have stopped at each ship. But Connie my ship was the first one we came to and at 10am we were only ones on the bus.

I can also confirm that we used the 3 euro portlink straight from the rail station to the ship on 17th Oct.
