Mariner concierge D suite deck10

Hi ,

new to Regent and looking at a deck 10 D suite. It is located below the pool deck. Will there be a noise problem because of this location?

I checked the suite Guru site and the suite has not been reviewed.

We wouldn’t do it, but we are noise sensitive.

Yes, you'll hear chairs scraping over your head early each morning. So, unless you're a very early riser or a very heavy sleeper, I'd suggest you pass on that location.

There is noise in early morning setting up the loungers and late evening when the deck is cleared and cleaned…a lot of dragging of chairs. Done these suites and would not do them again if under the pool/ lounge chair area.

we are early risers and usually in bed after the show.So, it may work for us.

You should also note that the Concierge suites on the Mariner are the same as all from category H tthroug Concierge. The main benefit in going Concierge is the pre cruise hotel stay included. And many find these suites (Including Concierge) to be a bit small.

We were under the pool deck once on Navigator and were less than enthused about it...BUT...there was a large corporate group on board who apparently insisted on having Irish Step Dancing competitions with the losers of The Biggest Loser TV show every night.  Every.  Damn.  Night.

 

I'm sure our experience was an anomaly, but we haven't booked under the pool deck since.

 

Something else to consider is the itinerary - if it's to a cooler location the pool deck may not see much traffic...
