Blackout Curtains on Ovation Balcony rooms

Recommended Posts

Hi folks. we're off to Alaska in August on Ovation and my daughter and (then) 18 month old will be with us. He takes an afternoon nap (sounds lovely), but tends to need a fairly dark room. I assume they're curtains in the balcony rooms, but how well do they block light?

Thanks!

I'm taking some clothes pins to make sure they stay tightly closed. We're leaving next week and don't want the 4am sunrises to be waking us up!

Towel clips work well

If I don’t take my towel clips I’ve been known to use a Royal provided hanger with clips sideways.  Towel clips are nicer.  I can’t sleep with light coming in either.  I take a sleep mask too just in case there’s too much light that comes in at the sides.

I'd switch to an interior room..... Definitely no problems with light then!!!
