How worried to be about noise in particular Equinox room?

We are booked in 1626 on Equinox.  Will be our first Aqua room - very excited about cruise in general and specifically Blu.  Just was reading posts on this Forum and found the big chart w/ different rooms' info.  2 say this particular room has a very loud air vent over the balcony.  All Aquas are booked for our week in October so can't change. How worried should we be?  Both the negative sound reports are 8-10 years old - any chance this would have been fixed when they refurbished in 2019?

Oct is a long way away so check back occasionally and if you see another cabin call and switch.. if you are concerned

Someone posted a YouTube Video on that room post revolution,  They didn't mention it but I could hear a fan noise when they go out on Deck.    The reports on the spreadsheet say you don't hear it inside the room but when on the balcony    If it bother you try to get a new room.

We have been in that cabin 4 times and never noticed a noise problem.  But then when  we are on the balcony we have music playing softly and a glass of something with alcohol.  Location is great.  We had been in that cabin twice before I read a post saying there was a problem, got panicked but no where better to move- still haven’t figured out the “noise” issue is.

I've been in a CS a couple rooms down and also agree I hard nothing and found the location pleasant.  Having said that I have a feeling that if I knew of a complaint about sound I would be listening for it where if unknown to me I wouldn't think twice about it .

 

Checking out the cabin on Cruise Deckplan (Room Checker)  It looks like there is a room above it and below so protected will not be affected by scraping deck chars and food carts
