Express Pass

I was able to check in for our July 22nd cruise and now have express passes.  What is the benefit of an express pass ?  If we were at Disney World I would know the answer to this questions 😉

Since the check -in times are staged and timed, I hope it means they just scan the code and send you on your way to keep everyone moving. Of course you will still have the morons who will hold thing up with missed information, questions and frivolous conversations.

There’s a little more to it than that. You show them your express pass, your passport, your vaccine card, and your test results before you will be shown on your way.

Unlike Disney, it is not a pass to by-pass any lines.  Express Pass is just what Celebrity calls their boarding pass. You need it to board the ship.  Enjoy your cruise 🚢

I think you may be putting too much emphasis on the word "express".  It is nothing more than a boarding pass without any special privileges.

And if you have not completed your check in or were not able to generate your express pass they will do it at check in.

As other said the delays are from those that do not have Covid records, passport and the same credit card as used for deposits or ask lots of questions they could answer themselves on board.

From arrival at desk without express pass, but everything else done and ready to present - under 4 minutes.
