Agree with @Florida_gal_50.  When we rent cabanas we are told there may be times, in the evening, that we won’t be allowed in due to private functions.  Have never seen one so I am dying to find out what it’s about.  You need to go and report back!

I was thinking the same thing.  I would imagine it would be quite lovely.  I rent cabanas regularly as well.  C’mon @VMax1700take one for the team 😛😉.

We had an invitation to one some years ago (forget which ship), but it was just a get together with officers for cocktails and appetizers around small stand up tables. It was nice, but a bit windy as I recall and was a rather small group. It was most likely for those with the most days, but not sure. No selling involved............but times have changed.

Tonight's Canelleto meal was good, but not exceptional.  The service was outstanding.

The evening party at The Retreat was very nice.  All the officers including Captain Rens, The Hotel General Manager, The Guest Relations Manager and many more were all present and circulating. About 20 cruisers present.  Lots of drinks and nibbles.

I should warn N. American cruisers going on Oosterdam in the coming weeks, that you will only get milk for your coffee or tea.  No cream.  No half & half.
