Bullets & Numbers

Recommended Posts

Why don’t the bullet or number functions work?

Bullets:

  • Aaaaa
  • Bbbbb
  • Ccccc

Numbers:

  1. Aaaaa
  2. Bbbbb
  3. Cccc

They show when drafting post but disappear when posted

I see bullets and numbers. May be the browser or device.

Edit: the quote has to be expanded to show them.

Everything OK on Mac with Chrome  🙂, but no bullets or numbering showing up on iPad or iPhone ☹️

The software that CC now uses is not very universal and seems to be prone to lots of glitches 🤨

Have you tried turning the iPad to landscape mode? That worked on some other issue - I can't remember which one.

The mobile version of the Cruise Critic software is optimzed for mobile devices. It uses a mobile browser.  Not the same as the desktop version.

Does that mean that there should be an “m” in the URL? I’ve never seen one. Does that mean that I’m on the desktop version?

I can't get them to work on my Mac either with Safari so it looks like a Safari issue

I don't use Safari on my iPhone; I use DuckDuckGo. I still can't see them.

  1. Here we go with Firefox
  2. So it works on my Mac with Firefox
  3. But it does not display in Safari

On an iPhone and iPad you are using the Webkit browser engine no matter what Browser app. Nothing to be done unless Cruise Critic wants to make it display right in Safari. Usually web designers test how their pages display in different popular browsers but they can't test everything.
