Best Epic Owner’s Suite

We are going to book on the Epic for next summer. We have had the haven act facing on the escape twice and love it. It seems there is really nothing similar on the epic. The owner’s suite seems to be the closest. We love the 180 degree view from the aft. How much is the view obstructed by the water slides, etc. in the owners suites that face to the aft? How are the forward facing balconies for wind, size, view, etc.? Any feedback on which of the rooms is the best is greatly appreciated!

We have been in 17004 twice and absolutely loved it. We loved the open views on all sides, and it is a spacious suite with a great layout. I remember reading years ago (when we were booking this suite) that the DOSes overlooking the deck could be noisy sometimes— no clue whether that’s still true, and of course, if you want to participate that way, it could be a bonus for you. My only complaints about 17004 are that you do get the deck chair noise in the AM, and there can be a lot of movement that high up front on the ship.

We have been in 17032 facing aft twice.  Loved the balcony EXCEPT when the ship is crowded, you feel like you are in a fishbowl.  The noise from the band in the pool area was pretty bad as well.  We're going again in January, and this time we selected a Haven stateroom.  I may move us to a 2-bedroom, only so that the Butler can bring morning coffee/croissants without disturbing us.

There are no obstructions for aft-facing room.

The forward facing Owner's suites have "Conservatory Balconies". The balconies are enclosed and air conditioned. Floor to ceiling glass (yeah their are some safety rails) that provide 180+ degree views. There are window that you can open/close depending on the wind and weather.

You also get that view from the bedroom in an forward facing Deluxe Owner's Suites.

We book Haven 2 Bedroom Forward Facing Villas on the Epic. For us, we get the view from the balcony and bathtub. Spectacular!

We’ve stayed in Epic 17004 and loved it!  Our balcony was not enclosed like those on deck 16 are.  We are people who like seeing where we are going rather than watching where we’ve been so we usually will not book aft suites despite the generally bigger balconies.  But YMMV.  We never noticed any noise from above either.
