JuliaMS Posted June 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2022 Has anyone purchased FBC then been able to upgrade the seat to Comfort +? FBC can't tell me if that would be an option when I go to select a seat, they only have economy and premium economy and they can't tell me if Premium economy is Comfort + or "Premium Select" delta sells those all as seperate classes not just seat selections. Rare cruisestitch Posted June 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2022 Try doing a mock booking on the Delta site and see how the seats are classified on your flights

Rare destar Posted June 24, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2022 Go on Delta website, use your confirmation # and see if you can upgrade seat selection. I'm sure there is a fee for upgrade.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted June 24, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2022 I've never tried to upgrade but have booked with FBC with Delta before. For my flight I checked FBC rates and the same flight and date on Delta - Both only had 3 classes listed. I think I would ask FBC what rate code you have and then look up the rate code and rules on Delta sites or just google on it. For mine SFO to EWR on August 5 - FBC Economy 438 Premium Economy 598 First 975 Delta Main (L) 443 Comfort +(W) 603 and First (J) 980 They lined up pretty close with FBC being $5 less on each fare type. bama4cruisin Posted June 24, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2022 We upgraded last year to Delta Premium Select after booking thru FBC. If I remember correctly, the opportunity to purchase this upgrade didn’t open until a couple of months before the travel date. Our originally booked flight in Premium Economy on AA (booked thru FBC) was cancelled in the massive cancellations of AA, and FBC was able to get a comparable (date, only one connection) flight on Delta. We then had the ability to upgrade to Premium Select for a very reasonable cost.
