Regular Carnival Casino Players Question

I apologize if this has been asked but I can not seem to find the answer from anyone who has actually used the Promo in 2022.

I have gotten DOU many times.  But I am currently booking with the DOU anywhere (everywhere...whatever it is).  I do play quite a bit and always get all of the offers. I am just booking this one a bit differently.  Does this cover myself and my companion or just me?  (Please only answer if you have experienced it.). While I will be talking with my PVP, I thought I would ask the community as he isn't in until Tuesday this week.

Thanks in advance.

It only applies to you and a companion if that’s what the offer states. Sorry, can’t be more specific.

I agree.  If it specifically states "you and a companion", then it's for 2. If it DOES NOT  state  "you and a companion" in that specific language, then you can safely assume, it is only offered to you....not your companion.

Our last 3 cruises, I had drinks anywhere on the ship, as per the offer, my DW was not included.

We were able to purchase Cheers for her when we boarded. I suggest you do this at the Atrium bar where you board. It involves a Manager override and it's best there.

If your companion has been with you for latest cruises contact the casino dept and ask them if they will extend the offer to your companion. My wife had the same offers but the sailing was booked under my vifp number and the casino dept did extend the offer to her. Saves a bunch of money

I have had both offers and had to read the terms to verify DOU While Playing In the Casino clearly stated it is only for me (this is in the offers I have other people's offers may be different). The RU9 DOU everywhere clearly stated it is for both in the cabin AND limited to only a 2 person booking. It also came at a significant price difference. Although I wasn't taking the cruise, I checked the two prices. The Casino DOU was $2600 for 3 of us. The DOU everywhere for 2 of us in the same cabin was $3400. This was almost the price of paying for DOU Everywhere. I then checked the Casino DOU for 2 people to make it fair. The price was between $2100 and $2200. Therefore, the RU9 offer on the same cruise was MORE for 2 people than the Casino offer after buying the Cheers package.

Drinks everywhere is only for the person that receives the offer...BUT, if your cabin mate also has that offer, you both get it.  My husband and I both get these amazing casino offers, so we both get the fun play money and the drinks... you should get a good PVP.  I love being able to contact the same person for all my bookings and any problems...

I have experienced it and it depends on your offer. The offer will tell you if you have a companion included. Below are two offers I currently have. The Elite offer includes a companion, The Jackpot does not include a companion.

ELITE CRUISES: FREE* BALCONY ROOM
FREE* Balcony Room. Excludes taxes, fees, port expenses and deposit
Drinks On Us! included everywhere on board the ship for you and a companion. Terms apply

JACKPOT DEAL: UP TO A FREE SUITE AND MORE!
Up to a FREE* Suite. Excludes taxes, fees, port expenses and deposit
$500 FunPlay® credit
Drinks On Us! included everywhere on board the ship. Terms apply

There's not just ONE casino offer with DOU. It depends on what the offer you booked said. It's VERY, VERY clear. If it's for two people it would have said it.

I have popcorn!! These EXPERTS are all over the place!! Who do you believe?

It's very, very simple. In the screen shot below, the 1st offer is for 2,the 2nd offer is for 1. How do you know? Because it says it right in the offer headline.

All over the place?  Everyone has said it depends on the offer and it is pretty clear in the offer if it applies to both.   It will specifically state for  "you and a companion" if it is for both.  Otherwise it is just for the person with the offer.

We hadn't paid attention when we booked our last cruise.  We just emailed the casino and confirmed which offer we booked.  casino@carnival.com

Your jackpot deal is better than mine!  Mine is for up to a free balcony (not a suite) and $200 (not $500) FunPlay!  😡😉
