I just put a hold on an Australia 9 day cruise balcony for $700 per person that included $750 OBC. $1700 total for 2 people. Of course the flights are ~2K per person. June 2014

Looks like that one left without you!  Maybe there is still space on the one in 2024🤣

3 Alaska B2B2B next month on the Splendor for not even 7 C-notes all-in 3 cruises, and that includes those hefty Alaska port charges/tourist tax/fees of $255 per cruise PLUS $100 obc each cruise + No single supplement!

It sounds like you got my offer!  I'm glad you could use that offer for three separate but linked cruises.  I was wondering about that.  I did have a single tax, but it only boosted the base fare from $30-50 to $50-$100 per cruise.  Bon voyage!!

You too, have a great cruise.......Are you going to be on any of the 8/2, 8/9 or 8/16 sailings on the Splendor?

PS: I suppose when a cheapo like me is only paying $30 base fare for the cruise, then having a single supplement for the SAME amount is something I can live with. But these kinds of cheapo fares like I have seen this last year, in my 50+ years of cruising I have never seen anything remotely like them, not even after 9/11 when there was a ton of deals offered to get people out of their shell and travelling again.

Nope, not any of them. I couldn't work them into my schedule. ☹️ Eventually I'll get back on Carnival, even if I have to pay a little more.

Yeah had offers to on the spendor that were dirt cheap. The one I wanted to do with had sitka though only had interior cabins with no windows at the cheap price. Any oceanview and up were regular price. I've done a 7 day cruise a couple of times with no window and I can't do it.I need  some natural light even if there isn't much of a view.

I hear ya, Cat. Yes, as far as I can tell the dirt cheap/almost free cabins have always been inside cabins although many times one finds good deals on oceanview and higher, the lucky ones are the cruisers who get the casino offers.

Although let's put it this way, I am not complaining, for what I pay, they can put me up in the engine room or the brig.....as long as I am on ANYTHING that floats in the water, I am a happy, old man. And whatever cruiseline it is, I am fine with that, I love 'em all.

PS: Where in LA are you, if I may ask? I am in the San Gabriel Valley.

Good deal on an Elite cruise that includes a balcony, but it would be $13,800.00 MORE for an OBSTRUCTED VIEW!🤔

FYI to the OP - you will not be given your shareholder benefit on a discounted cruise.  It's clearly stated on the corporate benefit page.  I tested that statement by asking for it on a discounted cruise and got a letter instead saying we love you but sorry...

I got a deeply discounted cruise on the 23 day transpacific and was successful in getting shareholder OBC.

I continue to scan my offers to see if there was something so insane I had to take it.  Nothing quite as insane as the offer I led off this thread with, but this one is pretty close.  If I left home RIGHT NOW, I could probably get to Dover by the time the ship embarks.  Whaddaya think? 😛

*All of these offers are capacity controlled and not for the general public.

What does that mean, i.e. not for the general public. Directed to a specific person? Unfamiliar with the term but would love to know!

They're only available to guests who have the offer on their account. Uncle Ernie can't get that rate unless he has the same offer for example.

Targeted market, directed at a few, and even then not all of them would be able to book.

Thanks - given that m 9/1 cruise is my first Carnival and I don't gamble, I am guessing I am not likely to see these anytime soon.

I have a similar offer.....$75 each with $50 on board credit each. Makes a 5 day sailing $25 plus tips & port fees/taxes. We took a similar offer last March and booked this one for October. (March was a casino offer. This one is not.) We don't typically take multiple vacations a year due to work ( and I don't have paid time off) but couldn't resist.  We are in Missouri so have to fly to port, takes too many extra vacation days to drive to a port. Wish airfare wasn't so expensive right now!
