Mariner of the Seas - Bonaire - is renting a Twizy car doable ????

Have you rented a Twizy car?

If sailing on Mariner & visiting Bonaire, will we have time to do this? It says 4-5 hours?

AKA...fancy golf cart.  😉 

 

There are many companies renting day use golf carts in Bonaire.  Quite popular there, and I believe you can do "shore excursion" rentals with Royal as well....or at least they used to offer it.

 

Do be aware, the roads around the island are a bit of a challenge though.

We rented a golf cart from Bonaire Cruisers in March and can honestly say it was the most fun we've ever had in ten years of cruise excursions.

We rented a golf cart as well, it was a lot of fun driving around the island. They provide you with a map and go over it with you.

Biker. Have you actually rented a "Twizzy" car/cart in Bonaire? I only ask because all I can find is a  guided "tour" with a "Twizzy" car. Not a separate vehicle rental.

 

I like to tour on my own, not with a group of other people and certainly not following someone else.

 

Any further direction you could provide would be great.

We have a southern Caribbean cruise booked for Aug. 6 on Explorer this year.  Bonaire was on our original itinerary, but it was replaced quite a while ago by Grand Cayman.  They never told us why that happened.
