Check your Chase card offers

My SWA & DH's Sapphire Preferred each had $40 off $100 on Carnival.

Bought our internet on mine & $100OBC on DH's to put towards tips.

It's wonky which cards get it & which don't (he has SWA too & I have Sapphire Reserve--nope)

It's under Chase Offers (not rewards).

You need to check under "Chase Offers".

Well, perhaps I need to get the Sapphire card. I have just the simple Chase Freedom card.

Oh it was weird...

DH has Sapphire Preferred, SWA & IHG (2)

I have  Sapphire Reserve,  SWA & IHG (2)

It appeared on my SWA & his Preferred. 
No rhyme or reason

I have the Chase Hyatt and I got the $40 offer.  My husband had a $35 a few months ago on his Chase Hyatt.

I have it on my United Chase card. I have NO offers of any kind of my chase amazon card. Weird. Trying to figure out how to use this offer as I don’t have a cruise booked with carnival right now.

While it doesn’t really say, I can’t imagine it being used endlessly to get $40 back for every $100 you spend. It should be a one and done.

I just used the offer to buy a carnival gift card for $100 from carnival directly.  I don’t have a cruise booked right now, but don’t want to lose the offer!

OK...I know this is a stupid question, but do you get a physical gift card that you bring with you?  Or is it OBC in your account?

You can buy a physical card or a digital one. I just sent myself a digital gift card. I’ll use it on something with carnival in the future.

Yes, I bought cruise cash...which will go on your account like OBC.

Yes, it is a one time use only.

Yes, I had the $40.00 statement credit if spend $100 offer.  I charged $306 and got a statement credit of $40.00.
