masscruiser2010 Posted July 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2022 For those of us who need higher-speed internet to stay in touch with our businesses while cruising, this is VERY good news. https://www.thestreet.com/investing/royal-caribbean-fcc-starlink-internet?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO
Rare mom says Posted July 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Maybe. Let's see how it performs outside the testing phase- on all itineraries, with full demand, on high occupancy cruises.

kywildcatfanone Posted July 5, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Starlink is still not that fast compared to traditional internet options. We have cruised exclusively with Princess in the past, have one Celebrity cruise upcoming, and I have been able to stream, do video calls, teams meetings, etc from the internet. I'm really bothered that it appears even Celebrity high end plan is worse than the default with Princess. That's just ridiculous.
