How is 3 days before calculated. Is departure day Day 0. Just confirming that I made correct appointment. Leave August 1, my thinking is 3 days prior would be July 29.

Correct?

Correct. Think of test day as day zero (so the 29th). The 30th is day 1, 31st is day 2 and August 1st is day 3.

Have a great cruise!

Direct from the Princess FAQ page:

As an example, for a fully vaccinated guest sailing on Sunday, the two-day antigen test may be taken on Friday or Saturday, and as late as Sunday, if you are guaranteed to receive your results in time for check-in.

We decided to have the monitored test recommended by Princess at home.  Our sailing date is this Sunday, July 10th.  We are fully vacinated and up to date with all necessary boosters..

When we scheduled our appointment only late at night or early mornings were open.

We scheduled our test for this Thursday, July 7th at 1:40 AM DST on the East Coast.  Our tests were negative.

When we received the notification from Inspire, the time listed was Pacific Time which is 3 hours earlier which would put it on July 6th.

Will this cause a problem for us when we check in at Princess.

That will NOT work. As you may have read above, the earliest you can test will be July 7th.
