bigbenboys Posted July 16, 2022 #26 Share Posted July 16, 2022 I'll bring a mix of long and short sleeve shirts, Polo's and my designer jeans "Levi". No rips or tears. My jeans are grey or black. I try and wear a long sleeve shirt on Evening Chic.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted July 16, 2022 #27 Share Posted July 16, 2022 You will be perfectly dressed as long as you have on long pants and a collared shirt even a Izod. I'm sure you will feel comfortable wearing what you wish as you described.
Rare hcat Posted July 16, 2022 #28 Share Posted July 16, 2022 Khakis and a collared knit shirt is fine for men most nights,. My husb likes a Tommy Bahama, gubayera ( sp) or fancier shirt for the chic nights... no sports jacket or tie needed unless you want to... no stress needed! Dancing Shoes Posted July 16, 2022 #29 Share Posted July 16, 2022 It is so easy to pack now compared to years ago. Men were under dressed in a sport coat, dress shirt and tie! Had to buy that for husband to cruise on Carnival. 😉

capecodmercury Posted July 18, 2022 #33 Share Posted July 18, 2022 I do agree with an earlier poster that where you are cruising may affect what you will see worn by other guests. The Caribbean is laid back and I have no experience (yet) with Alaska. European sailings do seem a little dressier. All that being said, a pair of slacks and button down shirt will be acceptable any night of the cruise. Or, a nice sweater.
