CDC ends all restrictions as of July 18th (TODAY!!)

It will also depend on each ports requirements. Bermuda requires all passengers over age 11 to be vaccinated and all have negative tests.

Personally it makes me more comfortable cruising there but know that there’s still a good chance of catching Covid on any cruise.

You are so correct!!

Who are all these fame-thirsty scientists?

Sounds like some sensationalist social media take?

Can you name some?

I reckon I might be able to name one (recognise 2) and purely because they were on the UK daily briefings, every day for about 12 weeks.

I don’t believe everything I read, but nor do I ignore SMEs.

I wonder which caribbean ports still require testing.  I am going to the ABC's in October and they are no longer requiring a negative test...

Almost zero chance there will be any changes to your cruise out of Vancouver unfortunately. Those fall under the PHAC (public health agency of Canada) and in their return to cruising rules, testing is a part of that. Considering our CDN govt is holding onto ArrivCAN with a death grip and bringing back 'mandatory random testing' at major airports, they won't be making any changes to cruises that leave from Canadian ports this year, no matter what happens in the US.

Please confirm that I have this correct 😀

  • no virus test required upon initial entry into Vancouver
  • virus test required (by Canada) before boarding a cruise embarking from Vancouver
