"Late" EZ-Air Ticketing

I have seen a few people mention that they were still waiting for their ez-air flights to be ticketed.   Now I am one of them!

My first flight leaves in just over 30 days.   There is no button for me to request early ticketing anymore -- which makes perfect sense because if they ticket it now it is no longer early, but on time or even late!

  • What has been recent experience?  How many days before your flights were they ticketed?
  • Would it help if I asked me TA to contact Princess/EZ-Air and "remind" them to pay the airline?

Fortunately, I am not in one of the situations where I need to be ticketed to choose seats or purchase an upgrade.  I would just feel better knowing the tickets are paid for!

Thanks!

Brad

My outbound flights were ticketed long ago.

My return flights just finally showed up today with ticket numbers on my Travel Summary. I did call Princess on friday and the person I talked to thought because she had a confirmation number, they were ticketed. I hung up, but still was unsure. Over the weekend, my cruise happened to go under 30 days. So, either it was the 30 day mark that did it, or the person I talked to did 'something'. 🤷‍♀️

Since you are close to 30 days, you might want to wait until you are at 29 days and see if they magically get ticketed?

I had a live chat with Princess at 35 days before departing flight and they confirmed with e-z-air they would ticket at 30 days and that is the exact date it was done for the round trip flights.

Just some information for people who have booked through the casino.  DO NOT pay them for your EZ air .

I paid the casino my money for my EZ air in April  and I am 26 days out for my cruise and the casino has not and will not forward the funds to EZ air until 2 weeks out.

MIstake on my part should have sent money directly to EZ air.

I have contacted Princess and EZ air and they can do nothing as the booking was done through the casino even though it appears it is through Princess.

This is so stressful but lesson learned.  (Normally would have booked directly with airlines but because of covid, EZ air had book with confidence cancellation policy) .As this is now over will never book with 3rd party  again as you have absolutely no control.

Showing ignorance here, but this is the first time we've used EZ Air. If I look at our travel summary, and I see ticket numbers, then it means the flight have been ticketed? We're 33 days out, and I see ticket numbers for both outbound and inbound flights.

Also ignorant question: when checking in for the flights, do we do that on the airline's website or in some place I've never seen in Personalizer?

Once your tickets have the ticket it you do all of your check in through the airlines website or app not through Cruise personalizer

Good to know. I thought that must be how it was, but since this is our first time with EZ Air, I didn't want to make a silly mistake. Thanks. 😃

Totally understand we all learn as we go. Honestly I think easier is the best method when doing flights even if it costs a little bit more because it's a nice safety not to have God forbid of a delay or cancellation let them take care of the rebookings if that ever occurs.
