Deleting a post

Is there any way I can delete a post I made on two of my upcoming cruise?  I'm trying to represent CC and tying together a Meet and Mingle but I need to either edit or delete a post on both boards.

What does "First Pinned Thread in this Area" mean?  I don't see it.  Thanks, in advance, for your help.
