already booked and paid for cruise on Grandeur of the Seas sailing on 15 August 2022.  Has it sold out?  How can you tell?  Thank you.

I just tried to book one.  It isn’t showing up on Royal’s website.  It is only 19 days away, so it makes sense that there are not any available rooms.

Maybe have your friends call Royal and ask if there are any rooms available?  It doesn’t hurt to ask. There are OV rooms available on a TA website that starts with a “C”.

The only port that we live close to is Seattle.  It is still a 3-1/2 hour drive, but the Alaska cruises are usually pretty expensive unless you enjoy inside rooms.

This isn't Carnival.... you can actually use your booze package the first day with Royal.

That’s as maybe but try to get ANY drink you want. 
 

i think I have been on enough sailings from Galveston to know. To say nothing of lime and mint restrictions at times. This  was all pre-covid so nothing to do with shortages.

 

AND I did modify it to maybe - depends how particular you are, but it certainly annoys enough newbies every sailing.
